Okay, contemplating
in my thoughts, I’ve decided I am no longer going to sit around waiting by the
phone to hope in a million years it will ring and tell me I just booked a
TV show or a hit movie…it’s just not going to happen, so I need to pull my self
out of denial and make my own show! Yes, that is right I said show! On my Blog,
I have been documenting the adventures and struggles out here in LA, as of last
week’s post I talked about filming the adventures to show you all (past blog),
and then filming got me thinking…why not just make my own reality show!
I
have experience in reality:
-Had
a MTV show for two seasons
-Worked
on MTV ‘The Hills’
-Did
casting for reality shows:
·
Tough Love Couples (VH1)
·
Dating in the Dark (ABC)
·
Minute to Win it (NBC)
·
The Singing Bee (CMT)
·
Baggage (GSN)
The
only down fault to this new idea, is I won’t have a crew it will just be the
camera and me. So the production value won’t be too high to start off with, but
I got to start with something. I will be using a very nice high definition
camera, the Canon t3i/600D.
I also will be working on my Blogs Navigation buttons on the top of the page. I worked on the video page if you want to check out what has been done to it please click here
Anything is
possible as long as you put your mind to it!

knows: WHAT COMES NEXT...

ReplyDeleteSuper cute. You should really cross distribute on Vimeo as well. Especially this new stuff. It's a community like YT but more indy and good stuff like this spreads like wildfire and in a community of semi pros, you'll rise to their level ev...en more! And you're really handling that camera well, a little more tweaks here and there with beats and focus and it'll be perfect for MTV. ;) I really like that it's sorta like the Hills but not really, but if it can be more like those MTV shows, I think the audience would love it more because they're comortable with that format. I know I love that! Focus tip is zoom all the way in and then focus and then focus out, but I'm sure you're already doing that. ;p And I just just love seeing you on camera. The charisma is there and I found myself laughing more than once. I really like it! Really. And do take my advice on posting it to Vimeo. Good stuff on there spreads like wildfire like a great new hipster restaurant would by word of mouth. But just the new stuff. Because you don't want people to be confused or whatever. You want them to see your best stuff. I really love it and can't wait for more.
