Description

Traveled half way across the country from Wisconsin to California so I could follow my dreams of becoming an actress. I'm documenting my adventures along with the struggles of the true Hollywood story of a no name girl trying to break into the filmmaking industry. I'm not going to sugar coat anything or lie about my experiences to make the journey sound better then what honestly is going on. I will be revealing the true reality, the success if any, and the heartache of what happens when trying to reach this one in a million dream. So come on this roller coaster with me and my dog Gizmo to see for yourself what it takes to make it, what it doesn't, or maybe you'll realize this dream could in fact be for you.

Outlets, Bees, and Facebook Like Button

I accomplished a few things today but i felt like i had done nothing, i hate those days darn it LOL!

This morning before my shower i got irritated because it was too hot in my bathroom (there's no window) and i couldn't plug in my little fan because the outlet is not in an area where it would reach. I don't get apartments, they never seem to have more then one outlet in the bathroom (hey! I'm a girl i need quite a few), so instead of getting mad i made my own second outlet. I went back to my country roots and used some good ole duct tape (kind of wish i had a different color of tape but i had to make do with what i had). I took the extension cord and wrapped it around my shelf to kind of make it look more fashionable and threw a towel over it so it wouldn't be so noticeable to guests :)

Here's my attempt at the masterpiece:

Not to lie, but after i finished creating a new outlet on the wall i was kind of thrilled about what i just created!

After the shower i noticed Gizmo looking out the window and i saw a swarm of killer bees, okay i don't know if they were killer but i wasn't going to chance it. With that note, we decided to stay inside.

It's hard to see, but all those brown dots are them
After the scare of the BEES... I started working on some coding for my websites. I've recognized quite a few great sites have a facebook Like button attached to their page and i figured today i was determined enough to apply it to my blog. With a few hours of getting the perfect coding to what i wanted for my sites, i got it to work. I want a Like button at the top right of all blog posts and at the bottom. I wanted the bottom Like button to be able to add people's facebook picture to my blog post when they click Like!

Here's a picture to explain what i mean about the bottom Like button with a Picture Icon:

Also i updated my facebook fan page (http://www.facebook.com/JahnnasFans) and twitter page adding a background/changing the colors (http://twitter.com/#!/Jahnna_Randall). With updating these two pages i figured hey why always update two pages at a time when i should just combine them both so when i comment on one of the pages it will automatically update the other!!! YAY!

Well with all that coding and designing to say the least Gizmo and I need a little break/relax time. Going to grab a snack and then figure out some more website stuff

Because who knows: What Comes Next...

Feel free to comment, critique, fix spelling, or ask questions on my blogs!
